Burglars and Terrorists to Get Extra Jail Time for Using Street View in Louisiana

Under a bill passed by the Louisiana state senate, crimes committed with the aid of “virtual street-level maps” — obviously Street View and its ilk — will get additional minimum sentences: an extra year for burglary, an extra 10 years for an act of terrorism.
