Through January 6, a Library of Congress exhibition in the corridors of the Madison Building called Maps in Our Lives: “The exhibition explores four constituent professions represented by ACSM [the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping], the nation’s primary professional organization dedicated to surveying and mapping activities: surveying, cartography, geodesy and geographic information systems (GIS).
